In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, we'd like to shout out a big THANK YOU to our dedicated clients - we truly appreciate you!

In this newsletter, we've got some news about our holiday schedules, our fabulous new instructors and front desk staff, and a peek into the 2012 recurring schedule.

Holiday Hours

The Center Studio will be closed on Thanksgiving Day:

Thursday, Nov 24

We will be OPEN Friday - Sunday, Nov. 25th - 27th for those of you who'd like to work off the Turkey feast.

The studio will also be CLOSED for the holidays on:
Friday Dec. 23rd - Monday Dec. 26th

If you'd like to reschedule please let us know or check our online schedule

Instructor and Staff Updates

The winds of change continue to blow at the studio. Megan has decided to leave the city for life in the suburbs. Fortunately, several of our instructors have added hours to their schedules in attempt to accommodate everyone! Thanks ladies! We're still looking to cover a few remaining gaps in the weekly schedule, we'll keep you posted of any new additions to our team of instructors.

Joining our expanding front desk staff are Debbie Karch and Stephanie Wolf, ready and willing to help with all your scheduling needs.

The 2012 recurring schedule is online! If you currently have a recurring session, it will continue through December 31, 2012. If you are hoping to change your recurring time/day, please let us know and perhaps we can make a switch. If you are on the waitlist for a recurring time, your request will roll over into 2012 and we'll keep our fingers crossed!

Our morning schedule is notoriously full ... but we have several afternoon and evening spots available. Please be in touch if you're interested. Availability changes on a daily basis!

Mondays 4pm and 5pm with Vehia
Tuesdays 2pm with Adrianne
Tuesdays 3 - 5pm with Bridget
Thursdays 4 - 6pm with Kyra
Fridays 7am with Vehia
Fridays 1, 2 and 4pm with Salome

Cold and Flu Season

As winter approaches, along with the cold and flu season, please be mindful of your own health and that of our clients and instructors. If you feel sick / achey / feverish / contagious etc... please cancel your appointment—we have a small room with very little ventilation.

Our instructors have been told to do the same. Take care of yourselves! Keep your immune systems strong.

Summer is here! We will do our best to keep you cool in the studio, beach ready outside of the studio, and pain-free during your travels.

As clients leave for summer vacation we're asking people to let us know their preferred session times for the Fall. Our recurring availabilities change every season as clients (and their children's) schedules change.

Let us know what you'd like and we'll do our best to make it work. Have a great summer everyone!

The 100 at 100!

Some of you may have had the good fortune to meet our client Ruth Kobin. If not, here she is speaking about her experience with Pilates at 100 years old.

Summertime Housekeeping

* We've noticed over the years that sunscreen can cause some serious damage to the upholstery on the studio apparatus. We have plenty of towels available in the cubbies, please use them on your mat or reformer.

* While the kids are out of school, we should probably take a moment to remind people that because of insurance and liability issues, we are not able to accommodate children in the studio. The JCC offers babysitting services for children 3 months - 4 years from 8:30am - 2pm Mondays through Fridays.

* JCC members are welcome to use the locker rooms on the 5th floor. If you are a non-member and interested in a guest pass, or a discount on locker rental, please let me know.

Between now and August 31st, book one additional session with a different instructor* and we'll credit $20 toward your next session. Book her again and we'll credit another $20.

Saturday 9/18: CLOSED
